Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Review : First Impressions

Woah woah woah! Wait a minute..So Xiaomi has come up with a new smartphone in the "Redmi" franchise. Yes, we are talking about the "Xiaomi Redmi Note 4"
So after storming the smartphone industry with Redmi Note 3, Xiaomi is back to make its rival companies feel "What The Fuck?" :D

So without wasting much time, lets take a quick look at what Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has to offer.

Frankly speaking, the design of Redmi Note 4 is pretty much same as it's predecessor's. It features a full metal unibody design and comes up in colour variants- Gold, Silver and Grey (That's arranged in the order of them going out of stock :P)

The Redmi Note 4 will come up with a 5.5inch Full-HD Display and Xiaomi claims it to be a 2.5D Arc glass design. And the pixel density of 401ppi will make watching your favourite movies or episodes of "Fake Taxi" fun for sure :)

In the rear side we get to see a 13MP f/2.0 Camera with PDAF and a 5MP Front Camera with capabIlity of clicking 85-degree wide angle shots. Xiaomi has never failed to impress us with the cameras and we always wonder if we actually looked that good how Xiaomi's front cams show us :P

The Redmi Note 4 sports a 2.1 Ghz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 accomponied by Mali-T880 MP4 GPU and there's still time to reveal how the performance will be but we are totally expecting positive outcomes.

| RAM |

There are two variants of the phone. One comes with a 2GB RAM and the latter with 3GB RAM. Xiaomi surely takes care of its "Kanjoos" customers :)

| OS |

It's the first Xiaomi device to come with MIUI 8 preloaded. And as we knew, MIUI's love story with Kitkat was far better than Twilight, but now it has moved on and we're totally happy about it.

The Redmi Note 4 just likes its predecessor, does NOT compromise on the battery segment and offers us a 4,100mAh battery which the company claims will last for a whole day with heavy-usage. So if you are thinking of doing the 3 P's together, totally go for it
(3P's- Pokemon Go, Prisma and Porn :D :D )

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced at
1)  "2GB Ram and 16GB Inbuilt Storage" Varient - CNY 899 (approx INR 9000)
2)  "3GB Ram and 64GB Inbuilt Storage" Varient - CNY 1,199 (approx INR 12000)

Fair pricing, isn't it?

+ You can expand the storage upto 128GB with MicroSDCard
+ Needless to say, it has a "Finger-Print Scanner"
+ The phone has a hybrid microSD slot. So you gotta chose between either a 2nd sim or memory card
+ The phone has a type-C USB Port

So that was all we currently know about Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 and as the phone is up for a sale in China tomorrow, we might expect it to hit the Indian market very soon. Thanks for reading the article and hope you liked it. Please share it with your friends and keep visiting "Witty Tech Reviews" :)
Good day!
